Träxler designs and produces gas hoods specifically for the requirements of digester towers and their operation. Each component is individually integrated as needed.
Gas hood construction
Ball segments disc with flanges that are welded on it
Rip reinforcement
For the necessary absorption of vibrations of the gas hood under all operating modes of the mixer
Mixer connection flange
Turned flange with groove and O-ring seal, carefully measured by laser and designed for a reliable centrical position of the mixer runner in the riser. For easy mixer installation/uninstallation
Fastening flange of the gas hood
Turned flange with integrated O-ring groove for the perfect fit when screwing on the digester tank dome
Compound anchor
Inserted in the casting trough on the digester tank head for load-carrying connection between the digester tank concrete and gas hood and to fasten gas hood
Gas extraction dome
To extracting the digester gas and connecting the pipelines to the gas pipeline
Over- and under pressure safety relief valve
Ensures the defined operating pressure in the digester tank; layout is adjustable and variable, designed for various positive and negative pressures ranges
Flange for foam detection probes
To insert and adjust sensors for remote monitoring of the digester tower operation
Free connecting flanges
E.g. for the sludge level measurement, etc. - for remote monitoring of the digester tower operation
Flanges for foam fighting and sprinkling lances
For foam control in the digester tank from up to six positions by targeted spraying on the surface of the foam. The required pipes are build underside in the gas hood. This does not require any trace heating. Water connection is available through a freely selectable nozzle and it can be controlled via ex-zone magnetic valve
Inspection glass
To observe the system and mixer operation, with wipers, to be opened as needed
Observation lamp
Switchable LED lamp (with ex-zone protection) as lighting of the interior space of the digester tank to observe flow and fill level
